Here’s a recent brainchild in my world of 3D – a twin Panasonic DSLR camera rig fired simultaneously with a homemade electronic switch. This particular rig is quite heavy & bulky, but gets great shots with lots of options! For the sake of convenience, I started with a home-made twin rig made of smaller automatic cameras, and have since improved on that. Shooting the two images simultaneously, I then manipulate them in Photoshop to produce a single “anaglyph” file, viewable with common red/cyan 3D glasses. I’ve worked hard to remove the ‘ghosting’ so common in a great deal of 3D photos, especially color ones!
How to view the images
Nearly all of the images on my website are STEREOSCOPIC, and will appear in Three Dimensions on your monitor. The added depth is seen when "Anaglyph" 3D glasses are worn: Red lens over the left eye, Cyan (or blue) lens over the right eye. When looking at these sets (or any images) on Flickr, you can select the 'SLIDESHOW' option button to allow for automatic full-screen viewing. If you don't already own some anaglyph specs, then get yourself a free pair of 3D glasses at: http://www.rainbowsymphony.com/free-3d-glasses.htmlPages
